Baslac 40-40 HS Clear Universal (5L)

Baslac 40-40 HS Clear is a high-gloss two-component clear varnish created using High Solid (high solids content). The product was developed by BASF for application over base enamels (both solvent system 35 Line and water-based 45 Line) when performing any type of body repair: from local restoration of an element (Spot Repair) to complete painting of the car.

Thanks to a balanced polymer formula, 40-40 varnish combines excellent spreadability, high sag resistance and fast curing. It forms a dense, optically transparent protective film that reliably protects the base pigment from ultraviolet radiation, mechanical damage and aggressive environmental influences.

Key advantages of the model:

• High solids content (HS): Allows you to apply varnish in only 1.5 – 2 layers, while providing a dense, solid coating thickness and excellent filling ability.

• Deep mirror gloss: Creates a flawless, highly reflective optical lens that brings out the depth, sparkle of metallics and rich color of the base paint.

• Increased resistance to drips: Has optimal thixotropy. The varnish adheres well to vertical planes (doors, wings), forgiving minor painter mistakes during application.

• Magnificent bottling: The self-leveling structure allows you to easily replicate the original factory shagreen (OEM structure) of any modern car.

• Ease of finishing polishing: After complete drying, the varnish is perfectly cut with abrasives and polished, allowing you to quickly and effortlessly remove specks or finishing imperfections.

• Economical to use: Due to the high covering ability and layer density, one liter jar is enough to treat a large volume of body surfaces.
