About the product
Stripes SiaSpeed with perforation 66 holes Specially designed for intensive work on putty and filler primer. Thanks to the large contact area and effective dust removal, this abrasive allows the master to quickly form the correct geometry of the part (hood, roof, sidewalls), eliminating the “wave” effect.
Technical features:
-
Format: 70 x 420 mm is the standard for long sanding planes (both manual and pneumatic/electric).
-
Perforation (66 holes): Provides total dust removal over the entire sole area. This is critical when working with a plane, since accumulated dust under a long sole can lead to overheating of the putty and loss of plane.
-
Abrasive grain: Ceramic corundum (in coarse gradations) and semi-brittle aluminum oxide.
| Grit (P) | Stage of work | Main purpose |
| P60 | Super coarse correction | Peeling of old layers, initial shaping of thick layers of putty. |
| P80 | Rough Alignment | The main stage of forming the geometry (plane) on filling putties. |
| P120 | Initial molding | Leveling the surface of the putty, removing deep marks after P80. |
| P180 | Preliminary preparation | Final leveling of the putty before priming. Standard for long plane. |
| P240 | Ground leveling | Grinding large areas of filler primer to eliminate “waves”. |
| P320 | Fine grinding | Finishing the ground plane for acrylic enamels or thick bases. |
