FIAC FV Series (Activated Carbon Filter) mainline filters with a filtration rating of 0.003 μm are specialized, premium-grade precision equipment designed for the final adsorption purification of compressed air. In the overall process flow diagram for air treatment, this series serves as the absolute final barrier. They are installed strictly after the refrigeration dryer and the mechanical pre-filters (FP, FG, and FC series).
The main difference of the FV series lies in the use of activated carbon as the filter media. This filter operates not only mechanically but also at the physicochemical level. Its primary task is to capture gaseous hydrocarbon fractions and oil vapors, as well as to completely remove specific odors from the pneumatic system. The result is technically clean and hygienic air of premium quality.
