Baslac 49 Line Multi Effects (0.1L / 100ml)
Main advantage Baslac 49 Line Multi Effects– this is an opportunity to accurately and quickly deliver cars with complex exclusive colors to customers without overpaying for materials. Bright three-layer pearls and xerals on parts from Mazda, Toyota, Lexus or premium German brands are traditionally considered a nightmare for painters and colorists due to the complexity of selecting the “grain” and optical shimmer.
Using original German 49 Series components from BASF, the Color Lab gets reference-quality clean effects into its hands. With them, the paint applies predictably, the “grain” does not fall through and does not turn gray, and the finish coat after varnishing perfectly matches the factory shine of neighboring elements. This is a reliable tool for professional auto body service, guaranteeing stable commercial results.
Baslac 49 Line (49-W / Multi Effects Series) is a specialized premium line of ultra-highly concentrated pigment components (tinters), created for integration into a water-based base system Baslac Basecoat 45. This series includes pure Xirallic, exclusive Pearl, interference pigments and special finely ground aluminum powders.
The main task of the 49th line is to provide the colorist with the ability to ideally select complex original colors (OEM) of three-layer and two-layer pearlescent coatings, which are standardly equipped with modern cars. Thanks to the high concentration and purity of special effects, products in this series allow you to achieve the desired depth of color, a pronounced “flop effect” (changes in shade at viewing angle) and bright sparkling in the sun with minimal material consumption.
Key advantages of the line:
-
Premium quality pigments from BASF: The production uses the latest generation optical particles, which provide pure shine and eliminate the effect of a “cloudy” or dirty substrate.
-
Wide range of special effects (Multi Effects): Includes xeralics (intense glassy sparkle), classic and colored mother of pearl, chameleons, as well as special colored aluminum components (for example, Red/Blue Aluminum).
-
Ideal particle positioning: When applied, the pigments are evenly distributed in the layer of paint film. They do not bunch up, do not form dark spots (“apple-colored”) and lie flat on the plane of the part.
-
Maximum color accuracy (Color Matching): The ruler is fully integrated into digital color matching tools Baslac Formula Finder and spectrophotometer e-finder Star. This guarantees accurate color matching when repairing complex factory coatings.
-
Environmental friendliness and safety: As part of the waterborne Basecoat 45 system, the 49 Series components emit minimal levels of harmful volatile substances (VOCs), providing a comfortable working environment in the mix laboratory.
-
Economical professional packaging (100 ml): Since components with special effects are added to the paint weight formula in strictly dosed (often small) volumes, the 100 ml bottle format allows you to effectively use the material without freezing the products in excess on the shelves.
| Pigment category | Encoding examples | Visual effect on the car |
| Xirallic | 49-W515, 49-W511, etc. | They create a pronounced, bright “diamond” or crystal sparkle in direct sunlight. They have high transparency. |
| Pearl | 49-W425, 49-W443, 49-W463 | Provide a soft, deep silky color shift. They greatly change the shade (reflection angle) on the curves of the car body. |
| Special Aluminums | 49-W497, 49-W534 | Metallized color pigments (blue/red aluminum). They give a dense, bright metallic shine with a pronounced color reflection in the face. |
| Extreme Tinters | 49-W530, 49-W550, 49-W556 | Highly saturated pure colors (Red, Blue, Cyan Extreme) to create ultra-bright modern shades and bases. |
