Iwata Custom Micron Takumi is the pinnacle of evolution of the Custom Micron series. If the CM-C2 Plus model is considered a classic, then Takumi (“Takumi” means “master” or “craftsman” in Japanese) is an instrument redesigned with input from the world’s finest artists.
The main difference of this model is modified tank design and shifted center of gravity, which makes it even more maneuverable and convenient for long-term work.
Main differences from the standard CM-C2 Plus
-
Compact tank (7 ml) with side inlet: Unlike the classic top feed, here the tank is located slightly differently. This provides best review working surface. There’s nothing blocking the tip of your needle when you’re drawing microscopic details.
-
Improved balance: The body has become shorter, and the weight distribution has been shifted closer to the hand. This reduces the stress on the hand during long sessions.
-
Gravity feed: Despite its compact appearance, the paint flows into the nozzle under its own weight, allowing it to work at extremely low pressure.
| Characteristic | Meaning |

| Nozzle diameter | 0.18mm (extremely fine for micro detail) |
| Tank volume | 7ml (integrated, compact design) |
