Glasurit 93-IC 330 Line Additive for basecoat (0.5L)

Glasurit 93-IC 330 is a high-tech isocyanate activator created specifically for addition to water-borne base enamels Glasurit 90 Line (Episode 90).

Typically, base paints (colors) do not require a hardener and dry due to the evaporation of water and solvents. However, in a number of complex technological processes (for example, when creating complex three-layer pearlescent systems, painting to the specifications of some automakers, or before applying the premium P-C-15 varnish), the addition 93-IC 330 is strictly required. The product initiates an internal chemical cross-linking process within the base paint layer itself.

Key advantages of the model:

• Increased resistance to masking tape (Tape Resistance): The base activated by this product becomes significantly harder after drying. This allows you to safely apply masking tapes and stencils to create multi-color designs, stripes or seams without the risk of stripping or damaging fresh paint.

• Ideal base for three-layer systems: When applying the base layer (the first continuous layer) in complex 3-layer coatings, the additive eliminates “blurring” or deformation of the lower layer during the subsequent application of the translucent pearlescent effect.

• Extreme interlayer adhesion: At the molecular level, it binds the primer, base color and finishing clear varnish into a single monolithic pie. This minimizes the risk of subsequent peeling of the varnish from the base paint due to mechanical shocks.

• Improvement of physical and mechanical properties: Protects the finished coating from cracking, chipping from stones and deep subsidence of materials over time.

• Convenient packaging (0.5 l): Since the additive is introduced into the base in minimal proportions, the volume of a half-liter jar is enough for a large volume of complex body repairs.
