Baslac 45 Line Waterbase
Main advantage Baslac 45 Line Waterbase– this means uncompromising accuracy of color matching and saving on expensive materials. Modern automobile factories have been painting cars on conveyors with water-based materials for many years. The optical properties of aqueous pigments (their transparency, depth and purity) differ from solvent ones. Therefore, it is easiest and most accurate to repeat a complex modern color (especially in fresh Japanese, Korean or European models) “end-to-end” using the Baslac 45 water system.
By choosing the 45th line, the body shop receives a tool that saves paint due to its enormous coverage, speeds up the selection process for the colorist and guarantees the painter a predictable result without defects in the layout of metallics. This is an investment in technological leadership, environmental friendliness and high throughput of the car service.
Baslac 45 Line Waterbase is an advanced water-borne mix system of new generation base paints. It consists of highly concentrated base components (solids, metallics, pearls and xeralics) designed to recreate any factory car colors.
The main technological feature of the 45th line is the minimum content of organic solvents, which fully complies with stringent global environmental standards for the level of emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC). At the same time, the system surpasses traditional solvent paints in terms of coverage, pigment purity and cost-effectiveness, being a benchmark for modern body shops.
Key advantages of the system:
-
Fantastic hiding power: Due to the ultra-high concentration of premium pigments from BASF, the paint covers the substrate with the thinnest layer. Most flowers cover a contrasting ground in just 1.5 – 2 layers, which reduces material consumption by up to 30–40% compared to conventional solvent enamels.
-
Ideal positioning of particles (“showy” grains): The water base ensures optimal film tension when drying. Metallics, xerallics and pearls lay out perfectly flat, completely eliminating the appearance of apples, stripes or spots on the parts.
-
Minimum base layer thickness: The thin film of the water base does not create rough steps and sagging at the boundaries of the repair, which makes the system ideal for painting using the smooth transition method (spraying).
-
Digital color matching ecosystem: The line is fully synchronized with advanced software Baslac Formula Finder and spectrophotometer e-finder Star. This ensures fast, accurate color matching of the most complex 3-coat and OEM pearlescent finishes.
-
Comfort and safety at work: The paint is practically odorless and does not emit toxic fumes when sprayed, significantly improving the environment and working conditions in the paint shop.
-
Storage stability: The components in the mixing machine are not prone to rapid sedimentation or separation, maintaining the stability of color characteristics from drop to drop.
