Glasurit 580-100 Anti-Crater Solution (1L)

Glasurit 580-100 Anti-Crater Solution is a highly effective liquid surface-active additive. The product is designed to be added to ready-made mixtures of two-component Glasurit materials (HS/MS series clearcoats and 22 Line acrylic topcoats) in cases where craters, fish eyes or silicone punctures suddenly begin to appear on the surface to be painted.

Defects of this kind arise due to a critical drop in the surface tension of the varnish in places where invisible microparticles of silicone, oils or preservative lubricants remain on the part (for example, if the air from the compressor carried oil, or the part was poorly degreased). Additive 580-100 instantly equalizes the surface tension of liquid varnish, causing it to smoothly tighten the formed holes and form a continuous, smooth film.
